Dexter coming to CBS

It was rumored already, but since none of the big networks seems to want the strike to end soon, and given how CBS’ dramas haven’t been performing as good as reruns as they used to, whether you like it or not they did decide to do it.
Showtime’s hit-drama Dexter will find its way on to CBS. The show is about Dexter, a Miami forensics expert by day, serial killer by night, (brilliantly) portrayed by Michael C. Hall. If the second season ended recently on Showtime, the 12 episodes of the first season will air on Sundays at 10.00 on CBS, starting February 17.
Of course, as you could have expected, CBS will not air the actual episodes as seen on Showtime or found on DVDs, they will “tweak them” a little bit. Read, make a mess out of it. “Dexter’s 12-episode first season will be edited for network television and will be broadcast on 12 consecutive Sundays.”
Although to be honest, I personally watched the first half of the first season back when it aired on Showtime, and found it to be pretty awful already.
