Damages picked up for two more seasons !!

In this time when you keep hearing about shows getting their season finale sooner and sooner and being butchered up without mercy, here’s a refreshing good news. FX’s new hit series of the summer, Damages, has been picked up for two more seasons.
The series starring Glenn Close was a very great show, and I have to say that if watching it week after week was a pretty good ride, watching its finale was even better as everything finally fall back into their place, it all made sense and it definitely felt like writers had the whole thing planned from the start.
Sure, there were useless filler along the way (What was he whole deal about Patty’s son about, in the end?) but all in all it was simply awesome, and the feeling I got as watching the finale is exactly what I want & hope to feel, when the time comes, watching Lost’s finale : nothing seems forced or to have been made up without consideration of the big picture, quite the contrary.
Really, the first season was truly some television at his best, and if you haven’t watched it you should try and fix that as soon as you can, it’s some must-see TV.
Anyhow, the first season ended with a possibility of a second season, and we can now be enjoy the fact that FX ordered not one but two more seasons, and a total of 26 episodes. Production was planned to begin early next year, according to FX said, but obviously the writers’ strike could change those plans.
Who will come back ? Is Arthur Frobisher really dead ? How will the fight between Ellen and Patty end up ? Who will die next ? Hopefully we’ll get those answers and many more next year.
