Coming soon to your screen: Prison Break: Miami

Sarah Wayne CalliesRemember that stupid Prison Break spinoff idea that was mentioned back before the strike and all, about re-doing the same thing as in the first season, basically, only within a female prison, but it’s even better with hot chicks fighting.

Well, apparently there will be no introduction of a character on Prison Break only so that she could get her own show, now they’ll simply do the other show, trying to brand Prison Break much like the CSI or Law & Order you see on other networks. Executive producer Matt Olmstead and co-executive producer Zack Estrin explained, “We had trouble casting for it (…) then the strike happened. By the time we resumed the season, we decided to scrap that idea of doing it that way. We’re in the homestretch of writing it. This is more like a CSI: New-York — more of a brand spinoff than a character spinoff.

Oh yeah, I guess that changes everything… not. Since the working title remains “Cherry Hill” (possibly “Prison Break: Cherry Hill“) and, of course, it’s still set in a women’s prison. In other words, it’s the same thing only without seeing the future female lead first meeting with Michael in Prison Break. Who knows, maybe he’ll actually show up in Cherry Hill !

This sounds completely stupid to me, but I don’t trust those guys anymore anyway. I mean, co-exec producer Nick Santora did say, about how they’re bringing Sara back next season, that they “left it open the entire time. That’s the reason we put her head in a box in a dark garage. We shot it that way for a reason. We figured if ever there was a way we could bring the character back we’d have that option.

Seriously, anyone actually buy that crap ? Cause they didn’t let it open, ever, they never thought of bringing Sara back for another season - in fact, at that point I’m actually thinking they never even thought there would be a fourth season. It was a head in a box in a dark garage because the actress wasn’t working for the show anymore and refused to do anything, so they couldn’t come up with anything else, anything more, they couldn’t put more light on because they actually couldn’t do it, they had nothing to work with.

Anyways, did you see Prison Break: Guantanamo Bay ? Now that was fun! Oh, wait, that was Harold and Kumar… still fun though, high-ly recommended.

How horrible that they brought back SWC.Only because few people complained the majority of the people never cared or wanted her back in the first place.Maybe the writers should have written better material for season 3 and it wouldn’t have so boring. What a shame that now the show will be even more ridiculous and duller than before with that fugly old looking big forehead no talent SWC, dumb move FOX terrible!
