Bones to return sooner than expected - House post-Superbowl episode to rerun

By fred | February 5, 2008

Bones* About a month ago I reported that Fox did not intend to air new episodes of Bones until April. Well, that hasn’t changed, technically, but there’s still improvement.

The remaining episodes of Bones were set to return on April 28, but Fox announced that they would actually return a little sooner, April 14. Yes, that’s still in over a month, that’s still April, and not even early April, and that’s still Mondays at 8.00 before new series Canterbury’s Law premieres, but that’s stillĀ a little better I guess.

Quick reminders:

- Besides the three last completed episodes before the strike hit, there should be a fourth new episodes of Bones : the infamous school-shooting-themed outing that was pulled last season in the wake of the Virginia Tech massacre. The episode has been “slightly tweaked” and will finally find its way back on the air. That is, unless some other kid decides to go out and shoot his classmates of course…

- Canterbury’s Law is a new drama with Emmy-winner Julianna Margulies as a risk-taking defense attorney. How original! Haven’t seen any of it though, maybe it’s good.

* Also, if you’re not one of the 29 million people who watched House after the Superbowl, if you missed the post-Superbowl episode that, it’s true, came in quite late in some places, let me tell you you missed a great episode, guest-starring Oscar-winner Mira Sorvino !

But don’t beat yourself up, a rerun is scheduled for as soon as Friday, February 15 at 9.00 - Don’t forget, though, that the last completed episode before the strike, which may or may not be a season finale, airs tonight at 9.00 !
