Another Grey’s spin-off??

For some reason, drama-soap Grey’s Anatomy is a huge hit, so much that this season fans will even have twice as much of it, kind of, with the first season of its spin-off Private Practice.
Not enough? You still want more of it? Well, sadly it could happen… as CBS just gave a green light to Grey’s Anatomy executive producer Mark Gordon to work on yet another hour-long medical drama.
Kasi Lemmons is said to direct, write and produce the pilot.
It will follow the life of a Bellevue psychiatric neurologist who also serves as a crisis manager. And of course, while at work he’s the cool force that calm things down and keeps everything harmonized, at home he’s out of it and has a pretty disordered chaotic situation.
Sounds so new I had to read it twice to make sure…
I wonder if they’re trying to create another franchise, like CSI and Law & Order, but with medical soaps dramas this time…
