After The Strike, When Will Your Favorite Shows Return ??

By fred | February 8, 2008

Here comes the list - Please note that there are no official statement from networks, there’s no guarantee. Plus, the strike ain’t officially over.
And if you know more, please let me know!

24

As mentioned earlier, should resume production fast but won’t air this season. You’ll have to wait until January 2009 to see Jack Bauer again.

30 Rock

Might be able to do 5 to 10 new episodes to air in April/May.

Bionic Woman

Funny enough, it could get a few more episodes, though it’s unlikely. Fans of Journeyman will be pleased, I’m sure, to see this crap still hasn’t officially been canceled though.

Bones

Still 4 completed episodes scheduled. Unclear whether additional episodes will be produced for this season.

Brothers & Sisters

Expected to shoot 4 or 5 new episodes to air in April/May.

Chuck

Not coming back this season.

Criminal Minds

Expected to shoot 4 to 7 new episodes to air in April/May.

CSI

Expected to shoot 4 to 7 new episodes to air in April/May.

CSI Miami

Expected to shoot 4 to 7 new episodes to air in April/May.

CSI: New-York

Expected to shoot 4 to 7 new episodes to air in April/May.

Desperate Housewives

Should be coming back for 4-5 episodes to air in April/May.

Dirty Sexy Money

Won’t come back this season, the three completed episodes remaining will be held on until September.

Friday Night Lights

Won’t be back this season.

Gossip Girl

Expected to return in late April up to June, with the nine remaining episodes to complete its full season order. This would make GG the only new series this season to have been picked up, and completed its full season order.

Grey’s Anatomy

Should be coming back for 4-5 episodes to air in April/May.

Heroes

NBC will most likely delay the return of Heroes until September, since creator Tim Kring thinks he can only complete three more episodes this season. “With a show like Heroes that’s so strongly serialized, and given what we wanted to accomplish with the new storyline, to come back with just three episodes could be creatively dangerous” Kring says. No really, three episodes is a little short, you think ?
Next season may however contain more than the standard 22-23 episodes.
