By fred | February 11, 2008

Cold Case

Expected to shoot 4 to 7 new episodes to air in April/May.

Criminal Minds

Expected to shoot 4 to 7 new episodes to air in April/May.

CSI

Expected to shoot 4 to 9 new episodes to air in March/April/May.

CSI Miami

Expected to shoot 4 to 9 new episodes to air in March/April/May.

CSI: New-York

Expected to shoot 4 to 9 new episodes to air in March/April/May.

Desperate Housewives

Should be coming back with 4 to 7 episodes to air in April/May.

Dirty Sexy Money

Won’t come back this season, the three completed episodes remaining will be held on until September.

Friday Night Lights

Executive Producer Jason Katims says : “We all really want to get back to work. Everybody does, but on this particular show, Friday Night Lights, it’s a passion for a lot of us who do it, it’s a labor of love, so we all want to come back to work to finish the season and tell the stories that we are dying to tell.

But that won’t happen, as the DVDs for the season are already planned and there won’t be any more episodes this season. Most likely, there won’t be any more seasons either. Fans have already engaged in a campaign to save the show, it will probably fail but who knows…

Ghost Whisperer

Expected to shoot 4 to 7 new episodes to air in April/May.

Gossip Girl

Josh Schwartz, creator & executive producer of both Chuck and Gossip Girl said : “Both shows will be back for more episodes. When, I can’t quite say, though Gossip Girl will most likely be on as soon as possible. Chuck may not be back until fall to relaunch with Heroes, or it may be back sooner, but both will be back!

The show is expected to return somewhere from late April up to June, with the nine remaining episodes to complete its full season order. This would make GG the only new series this season to have been picked up, and completed its full season order.

Grey’s Anatomy

Should be coming back for 4 to 7 episodes to air in April/May.

Heroes

NBC will most likely delay the return of Heroes until September, since creator Tim Kring thinks he can only complete three more episodes this season. “With a show like Heroes that’s so strongly serialized, and given what we wanted to accomplish with the new storyline, to come back with just three episodes could be creatively dangerous” Kring says. No really, three episodes is a little short, you think ?
Next season may however contain more than the standard 22-23 episodes.
