After The Strike, When Will Your Favorite Shows Return ??

Now that the strike is (almost) officially over, now that everyone will be back to work this Wednesday, it’s time to make a first update of the list I compiled a few days ago already to answer the questions we are all facing now :

Will our favorite shows be back this season ? How many more episodes will we get ? When do we get them ? What’s the smoke monster ?

I won’t repeat what I said last time about what shows might be back soon (the big hits : House, Grey’s Anatomy, CSI, etc) and which are likely not to return this season (the new ones : Life, Chuck, Dirty Sexy Money, etc) and let’s start the updated list right now !

Please note that there are no official statement from networks, there’s no guarantee. And if you know more, please let me know!

As mentioned before, the show should resume production fast but won’t air this season. You’ll have to wait until January 2009 to see Jack Bauer again.

30 Rock

Should be able to do 5 to 9 new episodes to air in April/May.

Big Shots

Pretty much canceled, so not coming back.

Bionic Woman

Same deal, should be canceled. (Thank God!)

Bones

Still 4 completed episodes scheduled. Could go back in production in about two weeks, but no decisions have been made so far.

Boston Legal

Expected to shoot 4 or 7 new episodes to air in April/May.

Brothers & Sisters

Expected to shoot 4 or 5 new episodes to air in April/May.

Burn Notice

Production on Season 2 is expected to get start in late April, and new episodes could air in July.

Chuck

Josh Schwartz, creator & executive producer of both Chuck and Gossip Girl said : “Both shows will be back for more episodes. When, I can’t quite say, though Gossip Girl will most likely be on as soon as possible. Chuck may not be back until fall to relaunch with Heroes, or it may be back sooner, but both will be back!”

Indeed, Chuck shouldn’t be back this season, neither will be Heroes.
