ABC Schedule

So ABC had a hard time coming up with their schedule for 2008, adjusting it with the strike and the fact that, unlike others, their shows don’t usually do well in rerun. Finally they revealed their schedule, so let’s have a quick look at the most important things :
- Of course the main thing is Lost, coming back on a new timeslot : Thursday, January 31st at 9.00 I’ve already talked about this, so let’s move on.
- After Lost will premiere Eli Stone. Many see this as a vote of confidence for Eli Stone, to be put after the hit that Lost is. It may be, but I would not be so sure it’s such a great thing. I mean, let’s face it : it’s a dead slot. After you’ve watched a new episode of Lost, you either turn off your TV to think and/or talk about what just happened, or you just you watched he episode again.
- Cashmere Mafia premieres Thursday, January 3rd and then moves to its regular slot Wednesday, January 9th
- According To Jim, Just For Laughs, Supernanny and Wife Swap returns. New seasons of Dancing With The Stars and The Bachelor begins on March 17th.
And that’s about it. Little schedule of things to come - things weren’t always precise, dates weren’t always really given or it wasn’t said if it was repeats or not (for instance, there’s only one Grey’s Anatomy left, same for Desperate Housewives which they might not air before the strike is over…) :
