30 Rock returns, with more guests than episodes [VIDEO]

I’ve always loved Tina Fey’s sitcom and I have to admit that, unlike others, they are really good at using guest-stars. Of course, on occasion the results may not have been the best, but it never got bad, like really bad, you know, like HIMYM-Britney Spears bad. And from Eddie Falco to Al Gore to David Schwimmer to Carrie Fisher, 30 Rock knows how to make the most of their guests.
That said, I’m getting worried that nowadays, and in an attempt to get more viewers, they might be trying too hard and only focus on getting more and more guests of the show, forgetting that if we all fell in love with it to begin with, it had nothing to do with whoever was visiting for an episode or two, but for the actual comedy from the regular characters on the show.
Anyways, Thursday, October 30th marks the beginning of November sweeps, and coincidentally that’s also the day 30 Rock is back on the air. And to get people tuning in, instead of going for the laughs, they went for the stars…
Almost makes me glad Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester (B) and Blake Lively (S) won’t be making an appearance after all this season…no?
