2009 Complete Winter Schedule, with premiere dates
By fred | December 8, 2008
In a few weeks we will be entering a new year, and with it comes, of course, a new TV schedule. Some series are (sadly) going away, others are finally coming back and there’s even new ones to make their big debut ! Which only begs the question : When??
So in an attempt to make things easier for everyone trying to see how they’ll manage their TV next year, much like our 2008 Complete Fall Schedule, TVoholic present to you the 2009 Winter Schedule, last updated on December 21st, 2008.
You will find here the complete 2009 winter schedule (!) day by day, with all shows on their slots with their premiere dates included. That way you can see how [insert day here] will be, try to see what you’ll watch and what you’ll have set on your DVR, and when things will be back. And because sometimes you want to know things the other way around, know what will be on at a given time, I’ve also included the list of all premieres dates ordered by date. With all that, hopefully you should have all the information you need to get ready for a new year of television.
Before going any further, let me first say that I couldn’t find all the information I was looking for, so sometimes you’ll see that shows are missing (on the listing by dates) or data is missing (”??” on the day-by-day chart), for instance while CBS announced their Monday lineup would not change, understandably, they have also failed to produce a date for the return of the shows. It’s likely they’ll all be back on Monday, January 5th, but it could also be the following week, or maybe the one after that.
Also, Prison Break is nowhere to be seen since Fox hasn’t given a return date for the show yet, same goes for ABC Family’s Greek. And The Office won’t apparently return with the rest of Thursdays comedies on January 8th (a rerun will air), but one week later on January 15th — though even that one isn’t really confirmed.
Please, if you notice any mistakes or have additional information let me know so I can update this post.
2009 Winter Schedule
Here’s the complete 2009 winter schedule, with the premiere dates included in blue. The shows are always put on their regular timeslot, and when premiering on a different time it is indicated then, as well as when they have longer episode, e.g. two-hour special. Anything new on the schedule is in bold, that means both new series (e.g. Dollhouse) and new seasons (e.g. Lost).

Are you going to put up the Cable schedule?
Mark: on the weekly schedule probably not, it’d be too much I think (right?). But on the dates listing I probably should, yes.
As a matter of fact I already put USA’s Monk & Psych in there, so I should add other cable shows (Damages, etc) as well.
I’ll see about that, any shows in particular you were thinking of?
Thank you for updating this for the cable shows. It helps in the programing of people’s dvrs. :D
You’re welcome, Mark. Happy to help keeping DVRs busy ;)
