Criminal Minds woke up late!

Funny story: apparently it’s been confirmed that Mandy Patinkin, star of Criminal Minds, will not be seen during the season premiere of the show !
Shocking, isn’t it? But wait, why will he miss missing? -you ask. Well, simply because he he failed to report to work!
I’ve always hated that writers never killed off characters for story reasons, but only because their contract expired. That another reason that make me love Lost so much, too. It’s a show where one character can die, because the story went that way. Producers/writers loved the actor, he loved the show, all wanted to keep working together, yet the story had his character to die.
Tough luck. (Even though they still have a tendency to die during beginning/end of seasons…)
Oh no wait, don’t panic, Patinkin is just out of the season premiere, not the whole season. For now.
Because, funnily enough, they just put out a casting call for a character that fits Patinkin’s description. What’s that, just a coincidence?
I hope it is, cause there are a few characters on this show I would hate to see go, like Gideon or Spencer. Yeah no really, how would the show work without Spencer, JJ or, of course, Garcia.
