Yeah, Cat fight!

By fred | April 6, 2007

(S03E15) So my previous posts are all gone now, I won’t really go back. Let me just say a few things again though, cause I was really disappointed after that whole Nicky & Paulo episode.

I won’t redo it all, but what worries me and I didn’t appreciate at all is how they tried to make us believe that they’ve been on the Island & on the show from the start. Obviously, this isn’t the case; and making Locke throwing a new line at her doesn’t make it right.

Actually, it makes it worst to me. Because I understand writers, back when writing season one, did not have all the plots that would go on during season one, two and three. Obviously they made things up along the way, and some things were not planned.
We all accept that, but please please don’t go changing what really happened on previous episodes, trying to make us believe it was different so your new story makes sense.

That is exactly what I do not want to see, because it makes you feel like you’ve been cheated : they told you they had a plan & knew what the big secret was, but they did not. They made something up later on and then try to pass it as something known & planned from the start. I HATE that.

But worst than this little story, the one thing that I really didn’t like is the scene where Ben & Juliet come in the hatch, with Paulo hiding on the bathroom, and supposedly watch Jack and the others Losties on their hatch & discuss their plan.

Again, that did not make any sense at all and (to me) really looked only like they used that occasion to reinforce the idea than the Others really were after Jack from the start, because it really didn’t sound right/true.
And despite this scene, it still doesn’t sound right. This scene doesn’t either, and the whole scene makes me sick because I feel like they make things up at some point in time, and then try to make you believe it was planned from the start by changing the past.

Please Hurley, help me!But let’s move on to this week’s episode. A new Kate-centric one, where we saw Kate meeting Sawyer’s ex-partner (and mother of his child?) and facing her mom, definitely not the loving her child no matter what kind.

It was good, but I don’t much to say about it I guess. Only I wonder how Sawyer will react when he’ll be told by Ben (or another Others) that Kate is the one who “really got him sent to jail…

Then, on the beach, we had a little lighter story, filled with humor, where Hurley did nothing less than put a successful con on our favourite con-man, Sawyer himself. You can say it was the lamest con in the history of cons, or that it wasn’t really one, but all I’ll remember is that he got Sawyer!
