Where are The 4400 ?

(S04E03) Dear Lord, what happened to The 4400 ?? Really, is it me, or is the show not as good as it used to be. Far from it.
And also, what the fuck happened to the 4400 ?? I mean, it’s all about people getting Promicin these days!
Before talking about the episode in itself, more general thoughts. I thought I read, a while ago, that after all the new shows like Prison Break, Heroes, and so on where the story are moving on, every episode. After those great shows, where things always moves on, and especially after the awesome season of Lost, making revelations and giving (lots of) answers, I read the writers of The 4400 would “react.
What I mean is, not being so much “old school, with one new 4400, or more one new ability, per episode and not much about the overall story.
Well,  for now, it’s not really there yet. Worst thing is, just like with the previous episode, things are not going good.
Don’t get me wrong though, I really hope we’re only witnessing things getting in place, setting up, with Shawn getting his new center on tracks, Jordan making his way to leadership again, Kyle starting to fit in his new messenger role, and Isabelle now free.
But we’re not there yet. Far from it.
Let’s first deal with the new “extra crispy. Story was okay I guess, even though like before I have the impression they’re a little slow at times. I think they should have suspected the librarian sooner than they did, but most of all the nurse should have been number one suspect.
As soon as we saw she was dead, I went “it’s the nurse!. First idea of mine, and should have been of theirs too. Just like when a wife dies, you suspect the husband first.
Apart from that, I have not much to say actually. So instead I’ll say this, didn’t take long to get everyone else out of Spain.
But this is not what got me to react with this episode. Neither is it how Kyle is getting more pieces together, and can now read the secret chapter of the prophecy book it seems.
I also did not care whatsoever about the new boss and her father, and all that crap. It’s just not good. I only hope it will serve the things to come, when everyone will be taking side.
No, the part that really pissed me off lies with Shawn.
