The 4400: Daddy’s Little Girl

(S04E09) This was a pretty unique of The 4400, and in some ways you could see some similarities between this one and the one from last week. In some ways, or at first only, because the two episodes were not quite the same not will they have the same impact of the show, despite both dealing with the mail plot of the show while not actually being right there.
And not to spoil anything right now, I will still say that even if it did respond to a few remarks or criticisms I had formulated in the past, while last week’s episode was pretty great, this one on the other hand, was not.
It feels good to be back dealing with actual 4400, and not only - or mostly - “extra-crispies”. On that note we can’t complain, we had a bunch of old characters returning to use, including original 4400. Too bad they all went crazy!…
I have to admit that I can’t help be thinking that this episode was somewhat of a filler. It’s not that nothing actually happened during its course, but in the end… we’re almost there.
Last week was relatively the same, but with one huge difference : it all made sense. The point was to bring Tom and Jordan closer, to change their perspectives of each other, and this couldn’t happen over night, a journey was required for the two of them. They had to fight, then try and work together, still fighting along the way, to eventually end up teaming up and sacrificing themselves for a greater good.
All they went through they had to go through in order to get there. But this time, I really don’t feel that way, at all. Not even close in fact.
First off, let’s start by talking about Tom and Megan. I think I just puked a little in my mouth when I saw her showing up at Tom’s house over night, all dressed up with a nice cleavage of course. Then when they kissed, my carpet got screwed for good.
I really feel strongly against this plot, I hate it, and I still cannot believe Tom is the one, he kissed ker. Obviously she’s been interested for a while, and she could tell - by the end of last week’s episode - that she had a shot. By she didn’t do it then, she waited.
This time, while taking things under her control, again she let him do the first move ; and for some reason he did. Sure she looked good, showed cleavage, and as he said he was probably feeling quite alone now that even Kyle is gone. Still… especially as it wasn’t a one time mistake not to be redone ever again.
I’m still convinced she’s up to something, and she might be there only to get info or something else out of Tom. Maybe she’s here to push him towards Promicin. I mean when he told her about Kyle…
Oh yeah, he fucking told her about Kyle, the same night! What the fuck was that??
