South Park: More Crap
By fred | October 11, 2007
(S11E09) This week Matt Stone and Trey Parker did not even tried to hide it, they announce it loud and clear, it is proudly that they bring you more crap! And that’s not any kind of crap, as hinted by the picture on the right, it is Emmy Nominated crap!
(Yes, little spoilery that soon, but it’s soft and taken from very early in the episode)
I didn’t hide the fact that I was waiting for the return of the show last week, only to be highly disappointed by the episode we got to see. It wasn’t funny. And while it wasn’t a season premiere per-se, it kinda felt like one anyways, hence the aggravation of the letdown we felt.
So, how was it this week ?
It was crap, a lot of crap. And some of the biggest crap ever. And men was it hilarious to look at that!
Now I can say, South Park is back! This episode was just fantastic, it was hilarious, it was all you would expect from them, this episode is the reason why I love South Park so much, this episode is exactly why this show is so much better than Family Guy or The Simpsons can be! In other words, it was pure South Park at his best.
Yet, they managed to do all that without Cartman. I guess he was punished in his room for all the abusive language from last week. And while Cartman might be that character you all love cause you know he’s gonna be hilarious, no matter what he does (or almost, but enough with last week!), they proved that they don’t really need him or any of the boys to make you laugh.
I started laughing right when it began, and I don’t think I stopped at any moment. Fair to say, I’m a guy. This might probably be more of a guy thing, as they hinted throughout the episode by the disgust Randy’s wife had all along. But while I might not have been as enthusiastic about his crap as Randy or his buddies, I sure as hell laughed all along.
And really, how could you not ? From that scene where Randy takes a dump, and they brought up the “Emmy Award Wining Series”, to Randy keeping his crap the crap under lights and taking care of it, to the European Fecal Standards and Measurements Board that measure craps using the official unit, the “Katie Couric”, to the Guinness Record Book, to the doctor making an echography to see Randy’s crap, to that final in which he did, without a doubt, took the biggest crap ever, and I mean EVER!, to the return of the “Emmy Award Wining Series” mention, only so that they can grab the Emmy and put it right where it belongs, into the biggest crap ever! It was irresistible.
And of course, how could I not mention the living piece of crap, the eternal number two, the one who hold some of the greatest lines of this episode, such as “yeah yeah yeah yeah” or “hello, hello“, ladies as gentleman he is Bono ! *yeah yeah yeah yeaaah!!*
I loved all of his appearances for that reason, should it be his special message to ruin Randy’s day : “Hello everyone. I, am Bono. *hello, hello, hello hello… yeah yeah yeah yeahhh!* For years, it has been my honor to try and bring focus to the needs in Africa. And today, I have very exciting news. Last night, at 20 past 8, I took a crap weighting nine and a half Courics.”
Or him attacking Kyle, at the idea that he could be number two, or him taking the biddy, or of course, him helping the Africans, consisting in pointing at them, singing. I couldn’t stop laughing at all the crap they sent him, I loved ever bit of it! (gross)
This is most definitely why South Park is the best cartoon of all, it’s smart, it’s funny, it’s gross, it’s hilarious, it’s addictive. I want more!
