Prison Break: Five The Hard Way

By fred | October 7, 2008

Anyways, so Michael, Bellick and Mahone stayed around to get to T-Bag. Now I know they didn’t know he was actually behind it, but come on! They know it’s T-Bag we’re talking about, and they know he often gets his way with the ladies. Besides that, when Bellick called saying she wanted more money and Michael needed to come up, while they still had no proof or anything about who she was or if she even knew T-Bag or nothing, I was sure they realized it was suspicious, I was sure that look meant Michael would go up, but Mahone would sneak in the back or something, because it was fishy…

Prison BreakBut no, they were completely clueless on that one, and here I thought they were smart. Mahone managed to run away, thank God he’s here, while Michael and Bellick sat quietly in the van, of course. Then in a pure Michael-style he managed to let Mahone know where he was going, and to get T-Bag to believe he was following his order. Despite what T-Bag may think, Michael is outsmarting him each and every time. And while I knew it was coming, seeing Michael telling T-Bag he would just lock him up there now, before Mahone showed up out of nowhere, was pretty darn cool! Liked Self making fun of T-Bag’s screaming too.

Questions: Why have Bellick slowly figure out Gretchen was involved if it went nowhere, he apparently hadn’t even warned anyone ? Are Michael and Bellick gonna get their ankle bracelets back on, or are they free to move wherever they want ?

Meanwhile, the rest of the team went to Vegas, to copy a new card. Roland was made even more annoying than usually – and he’s usually extremely annoying already – and that was even before they were in Vegas! Do they really want us to hate the guy or what?

So he’s not allowed in any casino, but of course he doesn’t mention that, of course he tries to steal money, again, and puts the whole operation in jeopardy for nothing, again. Of course the device got confiscated, of course. And why the Hell was he all of a sudden making fun of Sucre that much and bringing Maricruz up every possible time ?? Can’t we shut him up already, please.

Other than that, we got to see Sara playing all sexy again, always appreciated, and like her we found out more about Michael’s condition. Indeed, the nosebleeds were an indication of his coming death : he’s like their mother, who had nosebleeds as a kid, then they went away, and came back later an adulthood only to have her die from an aneurysm at age 31 — which just happens to be Michael’s age.

I guess this being the last season of Prison Break, they really want to make sure there won’t be another one, so they’re not planning on the happy ending with Sara & Michael on a boat. No worries though, I’ll be happy to take his place.

I think having T-Bag and Gretchen teaming up with the A-Team, considering the past they share with Michael and Sara, is quite unrealistic. But then again, this is Prison Break! Do you think it will happen ? Do you want them to be working together, or against each other ? Do you wish Roland was dead, too ? Did you picture Sucre starting to punch the guy in the face and try to run before he found out he was brought up there to take care of the wife ?
