Prison Break: Five The Hard Way
By fred | October 7, 2008
(S04E07) Say what you want about this season, but if you’re still watching you’ve made your peace with the way things evolved on Prison Break, and now that we’re here there’s at least one area in which you have to admit things have gotten better : unlike last season were, so many times, it felt like nothing happened at all, this season we’re not wasting (too much), things are happening, all the time.
The first cards were hard to get, and it was almost always the same thing over & over again. But recently they’ve tried to came up with new places to find the card holders and new ways to get close enough to them to copy the cards, much like after the first season behind bars, the second season had everyone on the run, after being locked up last season it feels this season they’re trying to move a bit more, and that includes moving the plot forward faster as well.
Oh no, not all six cards have been dealt with already, but the last few were much easier to get than the first ones, let’s be honest. (Plus, downloading them didn’t take anywhere near as long as it used to…) So we’re now already moving on to the next step, whatever it will actually be (like). Apparently though, it’s yet another break in – as this is the new theme this season it seems. And for the occasion, we’re bringing in old friends together.
Now excuse me, but I don’t think Michael will even consider teaming up with Gretchen. If he does, he should be punched in the face. Come on guys, she is the bitch that sent him to Sona and played with him there, she works for The Company, she is the one who had him believe Sara was dead, she is the one who did torture Sara for fun over & over again… no way it’s even a possibility. As soon as he found out it was her, he better have said “fuck you” and hang up. T-Bag isn’t going to be free, and they’re not letting her play along, be serious.
I never liked Gretchen so I don’t care if she’s out, and of course after hearing T-Bag’s confession to Michael – “I want to release the sinner inside of me that got me incarcerated so many years ago.” – and seeing how he and Gretchen were pretty much falling for each other as she was strangling a guy to death (some kind of twisted foreplay!), I guess you could be interested in seeing how this would go, but wouldn’t that be just too much crazy non-sense?
Okay let’s back up a little. First, Self is still a joke. He keeps up with the crazy demands and bogus threats he’s making to the A-Team, and now after giving up and Mahone just like that, here he goes asking him for help, asking what he should do next ?? Jesus, is this guy for real? How could he have came up with this operation ?? He’s lucky that they need him alive, otherwise he would be dead already.
