In Treatment: Paul And Gina – Week Three
By fred | February 17, 2008
(S01E15) Okay, I’ll be honest : I didn’t really watch that one. I played it while doing something else. It’s not my fault, but I don’t like Paul, I think his wife is right to go have fun in Rome, I don’t want to hear him go over all his patients and how he’s better than them, and I don’t want to see him and Gina trying to “attack” each other with references to their past and the conflicts they went through years ago.
It’s not just interesting to me, so I only went over this one quickly. And I don’t regret it.
It looks like Paul it still trying to blame everyone else, still lying about pretty much everyone. He did admit that he was into Laura, finally, but not without playing how he could do whatever he wanted with her, and how when he mentioned to Laura that they should end the therapy it didn’t work, and of course that was all due to Gina.
I’m still waiting for him to try to mess with Laura & Alex’s relationship so we can get into full soap mode… I just wonder why the Hell I’m interested in that. Anyways…
Sometimes here Paul reminded me of Alex : he’s got to blame others, because they have to be the ones who made the (wrong) decisions, they have to be the ones responsible, but he, he knows better, and he was just following orders, or advices.
But overall nothing’s changed, I don’t like Paul and I don’t really care about his own marriage falling apart, so I’ll probably stop watching the Friday’s session as well, or quickly go over the Thursday & Friday sessions at once… But I think I’m only interested somehow in the whole love-triangle with Laura, Alex and Paul, and I do like Sophie too.
