Heroes: Four Months Ago

By fred | November 14, 2007

The twins

Now they have to be kidding me. I actually laughed when I first saw those morons back. We’re sent back after the explosion : it was all Peter and he didn’t suffer from this at all, not one scratch. He grabbed his brother, Nathan, badly burned, and flew away…

HeroesThen, back on the twins. It was so stupid I actually laughed a bit, because they have to be fucking with us at that point, there’s no other explanation.

I can’t believe they would actually think that if people were dying to find out what happened four months ago, this is what they really wanted to hear about. No way. No fucking way, they’re obviously insulting us there.

This was nothing but a pure 100% useless boring filler, and they opened with it because… because they’re a bunch of morons. I don’t see no other valid explanation.

Anyways, what did we get from that new bit with the annoying twins ? That sometimes when she’s emotionally charged or stressed she starts crying some black tears and everyone around dies, but her brother - who can actually calm her down and stop the killing as the darkness vanished from her tears.

So exactly like every single time we saw them before !! Jee, that sure was worth some time again, especially now.

What do we get from this ? That they’re annoying and that he’s a looser ? I didn’t need to know how wife was already cheating on him less than one hour within the marriage to tell you that, I really didn’t need it.

Nikki, DL, etc

So you thought DL was dead, didn’t you ? Well guess what, in fact he was not ! He did survive his wounds, but he’s really dead, now.

He just died a much more stupid and pathetic way, that’s all.

Cause that was really pathetic, no question there. But he probably deserved it, if he can let a fist coming at him pass through, but when a guy puts a gun to his chest and tell him he’s about to die, he can’t do anything but wait and die.

And you know what, we actually didn’t really needed to know how Nikki met Bob and why she waited four months before she called in sick and wanted to be treated, we really didn’t.

It was another bunch of BS, and also a confirmation that they really don’t know what to do with her character. Because, go back and look at the first episodes of the series, her “power” or “ability” was that split personality thing, it was that she could see another version of herself in mirrors, it was that she would pass out and wake up hours later, having everyone around her dead.

But they eventually realized what we all felt from the start, that this was not only lame, but also a mental disorder. I mean an actual one, that many people suffer from. Go visit a mental institution, you’ll see people claiming they can fly, only they can’t.

To actually fly takes to be one of the “heroes”, one with a gift, a special ability, a power others don’t have. But to have multiple personalities and be crazy doesn’t take anything, many people actually are that way.

So they tried to add the whole “superstrength” deal to it, but we all know it’s BS. And the perfect illustration of this is that they keep defining her character through her “craziness”, through her mental disease, and not anything else.

Yet another proof that Nikki is not one of them - which could have been a nice thing had they actually planned that from the beginning and went that way - and that they have absolutely no clue as to what to do with her character. Here’s an idea: just kill her already!
