Heroes: Four Months Ago

By fred | November 14, 2007

Heroes(S02E08) I have been very unhappy with this season of Heroes so far, simply because each and every episode sucked. It’s a fact, and I believe that anyone who actually watch them will agree on that point.

Now I’ve heard quite a few people being pretty happy after last week’s episode, already chanting that the show was (finally) back and up to the level it used to be, way back during season one.

I never shared that enthusiasm, because while I do recognize that it was (slightly) better (or should I say less bad?) than previous episodes, if only because we finally have things at stakes, goals and objectives for people, and some incredibly boring plot ended. Nevertheless, it was still not a good episode.

But enough of lats week, let’s dive into this episode.

That is it, the episode we’ve all been waiting for, I suppose. The one that’s going to finally reveal what happened four months ago, at the end of that shitty finale we got to end last season.

Despite my dislike for this season, growing and spreading to the entire show I won’t lie, I was actually a bit excited about this episode. Not too much, but I was really interesting to see what they had in store for us, why they made us wait so long so that this would come during sweeps and not as a season premiere.

All that, for that!?!

Really!?? That is what the had us waiting for. That is what they thought people would love ? Really??!

I’m at loss for words. Sure, maybe they didn’t know people were gonna react the way they did with the season so far, maybe this was all written long before the first episode of the season aired, but that’s still no excuse for what we saw there.

Not even close.

Okay, so let’s rewind and look at what we got, for this much waited for and long overdue episode, shall we? It basically could read like this : filler, filler, and crap.
