Got any idea, Eureka?

(S01) The second season is Eureka just started, and that’s just a perfect occasion for me to talk about that show.
I had honestly never watched it before, so a few days ago I got my hands on the DVDs of the first season, ready to watch that great sci-fi show I had heard about. And I had only heard good things about it, so I wasn’t scared.
Then I put on the first episode, started watching, and it was good. For a while. But not long.
The first scenes didn’t look so bad. Little mystery, a “Jurassic Park kinda-joke that was actually funny, after all, so I wanted to see more.
And then, then more I watched the more I couldn’t believe that people would actually like that show. It really didn’t took long for the show to dive into a bunch of clichés, and then it resulted in wat the show would turned out to be : nothing but that.
It is nothing but a succession of (TV sci-fi) clichés one after the other. With nothing more, and nothing new.
The mechanic guy who doesn’t answer the phone until he blew up something is one. The fact that it’ll turn out he will do pretty much everything in the town, is another. The music they use during the experiment is not helping either.
The new sheriff in town intrigued, to say the least, by an explosion to act like so used it he’s bored by it already only by the end of the very first episode, is nothing but another stupid cliché looking for a laugh where, obviously, there can’t be any.
There is nothing worth watching in that show. The “experimentsâ€? or so-called mysteries are absolutely not interesting, nor intriguing. You want to know about their secret “level 5″ even less than the 33.1 on Smallville, and no one cares about that one!Â
They only deal with sci-fi plots that have been done, and seen, hundreds of times at the very least. Ok, but are they done in a newly way, or a funny one? Is there anything that would make it worth watching?
Well, No.
