Chuck: Chuck Versus The Imported Hard Salami

(S01E09) So as you all may already know, I have never been a fan of this show, to say the least. But I decided to watch a few more episodes still because adorable Rachel Bilson was guest-starring, which is the reason I watched last week, and this week too.
Still that doesn’t change the very fact that I do not like this show that much, or at all even. I’m trying to open up and not expect to be disappointed by the show, I don’t want my overall feeling towards it to influence my experience and ruin it for me, I want to have a good time as I watch it. Still, they make that very hard for me to do, very, very hard. That’s what she said.
What!? No, wait, that’s not the show, that’s another show, a show I won’t get to see a new episode of for God knows how long, I’m sorry, withdrawal effects. So what if it hasn’t been a week already, I deal with my problems as fast as I want!
Anyways, Chuck. No, Lou. Yeah let’s talk a little about Lou first. How ridiculously adorable is she ? I was really happy to see Rachel back on TV, even that little, and I wish she would have stayed around a bit longer. But given how things went down, it seems she is gone, for good, sadly.
Because this was a pretty great week for our nerd Chuck, who not only got to spend some time with and kiss Lou, but actually got to kiss Sarah as well. That’s how you know this is a TV show, when nerds get to have such incredibly beautiful girls to fall & fight for him. Well, they didn’t actually fight, but you get the point.
Because I do not like this show so much I’m not sure I want to talk a lot about it, it will only get me pissed. I think that on most of the new series on NBC, there’s a common thing the main characters are sharing, stupidity. Except for Life, where boss Crews & Reese are pretty smart people, and they’re not the only ones, the main characters on the new series aren’t really that bright.
Even time-traveler Dan doesn’t always seem to get it all, or ask the right questions at the right time, but that is nothing compared to Chuck, who can be so stupid I literally - or do I mean figuratively ? - want to chop his head off. Literally, literally, literally. Of course that’s nothing compared to the new (and improved? really?) Jamie Sommers who’s as smart as her feet. No, wait, that’s still too smart.
At least Chuck didn’t start to scream “bad guy bad guy” when he flashed over some party invitation, while having Lou on his lap. He still wasn’t very bright overall. But this time it didn’t stand out as much as usual because others tried to make him feel better, I guess, by acting like retard as well. Like Morgan falling for one of the oldest stupid cliché there is, or a so jealous Sarah that she acted like a real moron at times. Though I have to mention Chuck himself, going all crazy on a cute Lou just buying some (illegal) meat for her deli.
Blah blah usual stupid Chuck development, and in the middle some pretty obvious continuity issue. Like Chuck droppoing his guitar pin’s with secret microphone integrated into a glass, and then it appears put right there on the side. Come on!
