Bionic Woman: Trust Issues

By fred | November 15, 2007

Bionic Woman(S01E07) God damnit! I just did something I think I shouldn’t have done, but I didn’t really remember what my last position about that show was, it was there and I could see it while I couldn’t yet watch any other shows, so I decided to be weak and press play.

God damnit! Why did I had to do that, I think I hate myself now. I want those forty something minutes of my life back, can I have them back, do you think there’s a way to get them back ? Cause I’m sure I could find plenty if things to do worth that time. It wouldn’t be that hard, really, because literally anything is better than watching this.

I need to blame the writers for that. They’re responsible. Not that it’s because they’re on strike that this show hasn’t been canceled yet, though it obviously is the case, but because they did write that crap, didn’t they ? Or maybe this is the first attempt of a show written by self-proclaimed writers who are in fact a bunch of people from the studios ?

No, forget that, it wasn’t that bad. (Although it really was, that bad.)

I was sitting there, and I started to watch this episode. And I think the first scene, the very first one before the opening credits, had it all. It embodied perfectly was this mess is.

Worst. Spy. Ever.

You gotta be shitting me, really. So our special moron is on duty tonight, and all she had to do is follow some guy, wait for him to give a suitcase to someone else, and then take the given suitcase and go home. That’s it. I’ve said like a millions time before that Jamie couldn’t do what a 14 years old teenage girl would be able to do without any problem, and this was pretty much the case, again.

Maybe not the whole deal, cause stealing a suitcase from a big strong bad guy who might not care about way too young girls might not be falling into that category. But watching someone while on the phone, it definitely is. I’m sure 14 years old girls are able to talk to someone while texting their BFF all that during a class and taking care that the teacher never finds out. You know, things Jamie couldn’t get close to accomplish in a million years.

This show is so badly written I’m sure willing to bet it would physically hurt if you were to try and watch it seriously, like it was actually a good show.

Oh wait, but I forgot, silly me, she’s bionic. As such she can do whatever the Hell she wants, she can even drive without worrying about speed limits or anything else for that matter, cause she’s bionic. “Listen, Officer Douchebag, I don’t care I was doing 110 in a zone limited to 45, I’m fucking bionic, okay, you can’t touch me! So what if I killed a few people on my way home, were they bionic ? I don’t think so!”

Bionic Woman ? More like Annoying Bionic Teenage Bitch you mean!

Cause our bionic moron - and I apologize to all morons out there cause I’m sure they’re not as retarded dumb as this girl is - then decided to run after the car, jump over it, and have it to crash. Okay, first things first. Jamie, listen to what a great and awesome guy said once, or more than once actually, and suit up! I don’t mean actually wear a suit, but maybe as it was hinted later on, some protection would be nice from time to time.

More important, get some real shoes, shoes that are made for running, running, jumping to a building’s roof, jumping from building to building and then running some more. Because she does a lot of running apparently, and those shoes have got to be the worst kind of shoes for the job. Quit being 14 and when you know you’re going out on a mission, out real shoes on. You can even put little pink stars on it if it makes you feel better, I don’t really care.

By the way, why did they get the slo-mo effect back for her running ? Was it cause sometimes she actually only pretends to be running, but barely walks ? Cause it did felt that way a few times. Like I could have walk the same distance twice as fast by simply walking.
