Well, Fridays are know to be pretty dead in TV land, and it’s not last night that will change that. CBS was the most-watched network and only averaged 8.22 million viewers and a 2.1 on the demo. Which is good, considering no other network could even reach 6 million viewers or 2.0 on the demo. Yeah, Fridays are dead alright.
At 8.00 on CBS Ghost Whisperer kept its role of most-watched program of the night with a bump of 1 million viewers, up to a new season high with 9.95 million viewers and 2.5 on the demo. Following that came The Ex List, and I can’t imagine how CBS morons must be pleased they canceled Moonlight. Now, they have a show with only 5.65 million viewers and 1.6 on the demo, a series low — let’s all take a minute or two to laugh at them.

Not your usual Thursday night lats night, and not just because Fox performed really well, “stealing” the second place thanks to the World Series. Sure it’s not catastrophic, but ABC isn’t doing all too well these days. Best example? While CSI remained the most-watched program of the night, as always, it actually beat Grey’s Anatomy on the demo as well (again)!
But first, at 8.00 Ugly Betty was doing a little better, with 400 000 more viewers and, more importantly, a bump on the demo. Not that 8.66 million viewers and a 2.8 on the demo is any satisfying. Meanwhile on NBC, My Name Is Earl got a little better but remains low with 6.33 million viewers and a 2.4 on the demo (a season low), but that’s nothing compared to the (unfunny) mess that is Kath & Kim, losing over a million viewers again, with 4.97 million viewers and a 2.2 on the demo.
But you know, such numbers and the project coming from Ben Silverman, I could see NBC picking it up for a full season… You go Ben!

Fox won the night quite easily thanks to the World Series, with 13.52 million viewers and a 4.3 on the demo. Still, CBS managed to resist pretty well, and had the most-watched program of the night with no other than Criminal Minds.
At 8.00 New Adventures Of Old Christine did very well with a season high at 8.01 million viewers and 2.4 on the demo. Out of that came what turns out to be a good fit, as Gary Unmarried has a series high with 7.85 million viewers and a 2.5 on the demo, beating its lead-in!
Sadly for the world, on NBC were still 7.23 million viewers for Knight Rider. At least it’s going down, but with such results (and a 2.2 on the demo) and the money they get for the cars, no question that NBC will leave this crap on the air for long… *sigh*

As usually on a Tuesday night, CBS was the most-watched network last night, and while Fox only made it to the third place that didn’t stop it from winning the demo, thanks to the good combo House/Fringe.
NCIS was the most-watched program of the night, with 17.06 million viewers, despite losing about 800 000 viewers. In the mean time House was getting a little more viewers than last week for some girl-on-girl action (about 100 000 more viewers), and a very nice bump on the demo with a result as good as the season premiere did, a season high (5.6), though it had 1.5 million more viewers.

Last night we had a full Monday night on, with the return of the Fox series. Unfortunately for the net, they only managed to do better than The CW… Winner of the night was ABC thanks to Dancing With The Stars, while as usual CBS took the demo thanks notably to Two And A Half Men.
At 8.00 and despite a somewhat less funny than usual episode, How I Met Your Mother did pretty well, with 300 000 more viewers than last week. A nice bump up to 9.36 million viewers and 3.9 on the demo, while lead-out The Big Bang Theory was actually less watched than a week ago, with 9.23 million viewers and a 3.5 on the demo. Still nothing to worry of course, as the comedy duo still performs quite well and, if it wasn’t for Dancing With The Stars, would have won the demo for the slot quite easily.

Last night winner is CBS, probably helped by a nice Football overrun of about 45 minutes. That means all numbers for CBS are quite approximate, and that each program started with about a 45-minute-delay, hence the messy results it gets. On another note, all network had at least a 3.0 on the demo last night, so there’s so losers really — except for The CW of course, with 0.69 million viewers and 0.2 on the demo over night…
At 8.00 the animated comedy night was back on Fox, opening with The Simpsons and 8.09 million viewers, about 700 000 more viewers than last episode on October 5th. Coming after that was King Of The Hill also up, with 7.35 million viewers.

Last night was the big premiere for NBC’s attempt at copying Lost or something with their new series, Crusoe. Over here, the show is still sitting on my DVR, which shows how excited I am about the show so far… I don’t know if the show is any good, but it didn’t had a really good start.
At 8.00 Ghost Whisperer was a little down, with half a million less viewers than last week. Nothing to worry for Jennifer Love Hewitt and her ghosts though, the show was still the most-watched of the night, both in viewers (8.87 million) and on the demo (2.5) The series premiere of Crusoe on NBC opened with 6.74 million viewers and a low 1.5 on the demo.

After a special Thursday last week, we’re now back to normal, with CBS clear winner of the night, CSI most-watched program of the night and Grey’s Anatomy getting its crown back on the demo.
At 8.00 Ugly Betty keeps losing viewers, down to 8.1 million, but at least stays stable on the demo. On NBC things went down : My Name Is Earl lost viewers, down to 6.54 million viewers and 2.6 on the demo, and things were worst - as expected - for Kath & Kim, from 7.5 million to 6.0 million viewers ! Yes, the show lost 1.5 million viewers and 22% on the demo (3.2 to 2.5), and I’m thinking it’s only the beginning…
There were good for Smallville, with 4.15 million viewers and 1.7 on the demo, slight improvement over last week and with Hole In The Wall merely getting 3.62 million viewers (1.4 on the demo), The CW wasn’t the least-watched network of the hour !

Last night the most-watched program, in total viewers just like on the demo, was of course the third and last Presidential Debate (performing best on NBC, making the Peacock the only network to had a program to go over 10 million viewers or 3.0 on the demo)
But for those of use who don’t care about debates or games, the most-watched program then became New Adventures Of Old Christine while lead-out Gary Unmarried took the demo. Both shows were up and had season highs last night, New Adventures Of Old Christine with 7.74 million viewers and a 2.1 on the demo, while Gary Unmarried has a pretty strong retention with 7.71 million viewers, and even improved on the demo up to a 2.4

A typical Tuesday night, CBS winning the night in total viewers while Fox took home the demo. Should be noted though that all in all Fox had a better night, because they also went over 11 million viewers and came second in viewers, whereas CBS only reached a 3.2 on the demo, leaving the second spot to NBC and their 3.3
At 8.00 we had the typical scheme for the night, NCIS was winner of the slot in total viewers with 17.89 million viewers, nothing less than a season-high (the season premiere had 200 000 less viewers), while House and its 12.82 million viewers, slightly better than last episode two weeks ago (12.7 million), won the demo with a 5.1, less than last episode (5.3)
