During the 23rd Annual Television Critics Association Awards one thing was pretty clear : unlike Emmy voters who don’t watch TV and give out their votes based on popularity, and plain luck, the television critics do watch TV - shocker - and it shows!

Shows love to have new cast additions, this season is no exception as we’ve seen already with a bunch of shows.
And the saga continues with CSI: NY for which two newcomers have been announced, both will be recurring. Strangely though, one of them migh not look unfamiliar to fans of the show…

Ever since they heard that two hot female characters would be introduced this new season of Supernatural, fans have started to freak out and wonder if their favorite show wasn’t loosing his path.
Series creator Eric Kripke had made a few statements trying to reensure fans that their show was not just being “sexed up” by the hands of the network, for the bad of the show.
Well, fans can now be finally happy, it seems Eric Kripke and his team do have things under control.

Ok, maybe I’m hating the show so much now that I fail to be completely fair, I don’t know. But either way, it’s their fault making that waste of a finale.

As I previously mentioned, the few hints given out by Masi Oka had me fear that the second second of Heroes wasn’t looking good already.
Well, it gets worst.

Even since it was announced that there would be additions to the cast of Supernatural, that not one but two female characters would be added, a large majority of fans have been really worrying.
And that is understandable, since the show has never been a typical “teen show”, but actually a pretty good show that, despite a sense of humor, usually deals with dark stories. Adding two sexy girls might be seen as nothing but a way to “sex things up” in a lame network attempt to attract new viewers, with a major side effect of deflating the seriousness of the story.

It’s been much talked already, Many Patinkin left Criminal Minds ! No, he wasn’t fired, he just left. With warnings or nothing. And as previously said, he’ll be back for one episode so Gideon can actually be written out of the show. But who will take his place? There had been a casting call for someone that fits Patinkin’s description, and….

The Office is a great, funny show, and its cast is amazing as well.
Proving once more this and how Jenna Fischer - recently nominated for an Emmy as “Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series” - is adorable, is how she decided to share her reaction on her Emmy nomination.
Instead of using the usual media, talking to some journalist on TV, she went to the fans.

I guess pretty much every one knows, by now, about the CBS drama Jericho. Had you never watched it before, all the fans’ “Nuts” campaign and its happy ending got talked so much that you must have heard of it, one way or another.
And the fans have a few reasons to be happy, in theory. Unfortunately, it won’t leave the area of theory, because in reality, they’re just, well, fucked. Not that they didn’t succeed in achieving they’re goals, just that it won’t matter.

It was highly predictable even before the nominations were revealed, that people would yell and scream at the Emmys for all their mistakes. And exactly that happened, people who actually watches TV are, indeed, pissed. Because they nominated shows that should never have made the list (Boston Legal), and completely snubbed others that should have won the awards (Lost) !
And that goes not only for dramas, or shows.
But why is that? Why are the Emmys so wrong? Well, they simply lost touch with the reality of what TV is nowaday. They forgot the awards should recognize quality, and settled down for popularity instead.
