(S04E06) Well, all in all I liked this episode. I mean, by the time now I think if you’re still watching the show you have a pretty good idea of what you’ll get. It’s not just any show, it’s Prison Break. As a matter of fact it’s more than that, it’s Prison Break season four. So you are not still tuning in if you don’t know what you will get from this, and if you do, well, you get exactly what you come for.
Which obviously means you should have a great time watching it. Oh sure, that doesn’t mean things actually made sense or that people were actually thinking before doing anything, of course not. Just like it doesn’t mean you had surprises, because it’s been long since the “twists” on this show don’t get anyone anymore, we can all see them come from miles.
But if you’re fine with all of that, this was fun, wasn’t it?

(S02E01) Do you remember that day, last year, in December ? it was a Wednesday I think, December 5th, 2007 ? Yeah I know, it’s been like 10 month, of course you don’t really remember what happened that day, so I’ll give it to you : it was the last time a new episode of one of the greatest series to ever grace our screen was on the air. Oh yeah, it’s been ten freaking long months until we saw a new episode of Life !!
Needless to say, I was incredibly happy to have it back. Also, if you didn’t remember everything, that’s because NBC didn’t think things like reruns would be helpful. But let’s not talk about that, let’s focus on the episode. This awesome episode. I’ll tell you, I was worried. When I started watching this episode, I was very excited, and also worried.
Now I’m just excited, and happy. I think this is where I smile, my happy place : in front of an episode of Life.

Biggest night of television of the week last night, so who’s the winner ? Overall it was ABC in total viewers (16.16 million) thanks to Dancing With The Stars, and CBS on the demo (3.9) thanks to Two And A Half Men – although ABC was a close second with 3.8
On to the things we care about : At 8.00 it was of course Dancing With The Stars leading its slot, then came How I Met Your Mother with 8.81 million viewers and 3.7 on the demo, followed by its lead-in The Big Bang Theory with 8.76 million viewers and 3.5 on the demo. Both shows did slightly less than one week ago (HIMYM losing a bit more) but are still performing very well, being #2 and #3 both in viewers and on the demo for the slot, so all is good there.

(S02E04) Yes, there’s only one character who get his (her actually) name on the title of this show, and that is of course Sarah Connor. And while I wasn’t really sure at first, Lena Headey has been doing a very great job so far. Yet, for some reason, the one name that probably comes out more often than others when talking about this show isn’t hers, but Cameron’s Summer Glau.
Which I guess also makes sense, she’s after all the “Terminator” part of the title. But while I found Lena Headey’s performance to be nothing but great on the show, I’ve stated before how I have a problem with the way Cameron is being portrayed. It’s got nothing to do with Summer Glau, who does a terrific job as well, no it is due to how her character is actually written.
It’s a real concern to me, and this episode made things even worse.

(S02E05) You remember the infamous campaign from The CW about this little show ? “OMFG!” ? Well that’s about right, that is precisely how I would describe this episode and how this show managed to go this week : OMFG!
And I say that in the best possible way of course, and my head still blinded by the lights of Fashion Week, I’m declaring this episode to be the best episode of the season (or series?) yet. Sure it was a little predictable (well a whole lot more than than actually) but the thing is, who cares? Who cares when you get to see so many great characters and such evolution that you are literally dying to find out what happens next??

(S02E01) I know I know, last season I kept saying how I didn’t really like this show, and I would probably still say the same today, expect that just like last season I keep watching it, and this time I can’t say it’s for Rachel Bilson. So I guess there must be something else that draws me back to this show, which is probably also part of the reason you and many others do, it’s (kinda) fun.
I’ll be honest, I didn’t really remember where we left off Chuck and everybody else, it’s been so long since a new episode of Chuck that I sorta forgot. But I remembered the premise of the show at least, not that it was required because thanks to a nice little narrative device it was all explain very rapidly at the beginning of the episode, allowing new viewers to jump in and not feel like they were missing something to fully appreciate the show.

(S04E02) Have you ever had a burger that tasted so good, eating other burgers after that was never the same ? Because of that one burger, and what it represented, now every other burger in the world were just meat between bread, and so you ended up driving miles and miles looking for that one burger again, because nothing compares to the magnificent taste of the best burger of your life ?
Of course, this episode wasn’t really about burger. I mean it was all about burgers of course, and not just any burger, but - as the episode’s title say - the best burger in New York, but the truth is there were much bigger things at play here…

(S02E02) Last week Leonard told Penny that he was fine with her not being smart, which might not have been the best thing to say. This came after Penny was getting uncertain about a possible future for the both of them, because she thought she wasn’t smart enough for Leonard, that they didn’t had enough in common. Whether it is true or not, we all knew one thing from the minute, last season, they started going out : it wouldn’t last.
It’s a thing with sitcoms, if not most TV shows, things don’t change. Change is bad, change means people don’t get what they’re used to get every week, and starts how trouble starts. Especially true with sitcoms, and probably an even stronger reason as to why they didn’t had a chance, over they differences or completely different styles and interests.
