The Hardest Lost Quiz Ever

AddThis Social Bookmark ButtonBy fred | May 28, 2008

LostSo you’re waiting for Thursday’s bug finale, and in the mean time you wonder how much you know about Lost ? Well, wonder no more and go take the hardest Lost quiz ever !

Sure, all such quizzes out there will claim to be the hardest one ever, but when it comes from the completely crazy people from DarkUFO, who narrowed down over 170 submissions to 39 which they feel are the hardest, chances are this one might actually be a really tough one. Don’t be ashamed if you don’t get a very high score, in order to do very well you need to have only one thing in your life, one thing you devote about 99% of your time to : Lost.

There are 39 multiple-choice questions, you have 30 seconds to answer each question, and the quicker you answer the more points you get. And all along, to see how you’re doing, along with the correct answer you’ll be told how many people before you answered that question, and what percentage of them go tit right. Think you can beat them ? If you feel you’re up to it, go take the quiz now !

Supernatural losing Dean, soon to enter its final season !!!

AddThis Social Bookmark ButtonBy fred | May 26, 2008

SupernaturalSupernatural has been on for three years now, and like all shows you love, you probably don’t want it to stop, and wishes it could stay on for years and years to come. But all good things must come to an end, and while the show is still as strong as ever, we night not have so many years left to enjoy it.

Rewinding a little… Not so long ago, we all witnessed the Supernatural season 3 finale, leaving things unresolved to say the least. For a while now we had to face a dark promise, that after different deals done with demons, we were going to lose one of them.

Dean was doomed to die, he had only one year left before heading to Hell, losing his humanity and eventually turning into a demon himself. This didn’t look good, and creator Eric Kripke recently confirmed that Jensen Ackles was leaving the show…

Memorial Day Weekend 2008: TV Show Marathons

AddThis Social Bookmark ButtonBy fred | May 26, 2008

Courtesy of Interesting Pile here is a list of all the marathons planned on TV to celebrate Memorial Day. It’s not always the best, but I’m sure you’ll find something to your liking, should be it watching some old Diff’rent Strokes or a batch of CSI.

Quickly, here’s the few I think might be worth tuning in, if you have nothing better waiting for you on your DVR, or in that pile of DVDs you’ve bought but never actually took the time to watch…. On FX you can dive back into the 70’s, with 22 episode of That 70’s Show. If you forget about the last seasons, that show was both great & hilarious.

What will you be watching this summer ??

AddThis Social Bookmark ButtonBy fred | May 26, 2008

WeedsNow that the season is (almost) over, we can start focusing on what to watch this summer. Summer is a time we usually move away from the big four, as they are pretty much filled with nothing but reruns, games, and more reruns. As such, we look more into the ones who keep being creative and providing us with great, exciting content, the cable networks.

Of course, there isn’t always something good, and with the still on-going effects of the recent writers’ strike, well, a few series you might be waiting for won’t be coming back (so soon).

During summer I usually watch The 4400, but USA canceled it so we won’t get any actual closure on that story. And as I said, some series will be returning later than usual, for instance there won’t be no Entourage until September, and I think we might have to wait until 2009 for the new season of FX great hit, Damages. Same goes for Rescue Me, although FX will produce minisodes of Rescue Me this summer.

Lost: All Flash-forwards In 8:42 And Timeline Talks

AddThis Social Bookmark ButtonBy fred | May 25, 2008

LostWe all know the big night for the three-hour Lost season 4 finale is around the corner, and we all have to deal with finding ways to wait for Thursday night. Someone found a pretty cool way to use his time, providing us with all the flash-forwards we got ever since the first one during last season finale, all in chronological order.

A very nice and well-made video, and keeping up with the now well-known Lost tradition, it’s all done in 8:42, of course :

Friday’s Numbers

NumbersFriday there was nothing on, the most-watched network was CBS with nothing but reruns, averaging 6.0 million viewers. Yeah, pretty boring, I know.

At 8.00 reruns did well on CBS while ABC was dead last after The CW. At 9.00 it was still good for CBS, with 700 000 more viewers for another reruns of Ghost Whisperer, while the rerun of Grey’s Anatomy also improved (by 700 000 viewers as well), bringing the Alphabet before both Fox and The CW. Finally at 10.00 we had the most-watched program of the night, a rerun of Numb3rs with 7.0 million viewers, beating Dateline (5.9 million) and 20/20 (4.8 million) Go reruns!, I guess…

All numbers of the night below :

OMFG: The Gossip Girl Season Finale We Should Have Seen !

AddThis Social Bookmark ButtonBy fred | May 23, 2008

Gossip GirlYou all remember Gossip Girl’s first season finale, right? Did you feel there was a large taste of happy ending in the air ?

It may have looked a bit unusual, as season finales tend to end more with a cliffhanger in the middle of a very dramatic event, it’s best to keep one want more. And while it’s not that the season finale we actually got to see was disappointing, the one we didn’t get to see, the original one, might just have been much better, and a lot less happy let’s be honest
