Another Friday like you’d expect them to be : a clear win for CBS, both in viewers and on the demo. While all of CBS programs went over 2.0 on the demo, no other program could even reach it, except for the at hour of Dateline at 10.00 And if it wasn’t for Numb3rs (10.2 million), no program would have reached 10 million viewers - the highest being 9.2 million viewers for Ghost Whisperer at 8.00
Ghost Whisperer was up by 200 000 viewers since last week, ABC was up by 1.3 million viewers with a new installment of 20/20, while Fox was down 400 000 viewers and once again finished the night dead last, even beaten by The CW.

(S03E19) Alright, so as always with Thursdays there’s a lot of stuff on, and you can’t watch it all. So, cleaning my DVR this morning I just watched the latest episode of My Name Is Earl, first episode in a long time to feature Earl, who’s not limited in anyways such as having to stay behind bars or stuck in a coma, which looks like some sort of stupid unfunny sitcoms made out of clichés and boredom.
No, this time finally Earl is back, up and free, and it’s about time ! It will have taken a long time for this season to bring the show back to a place where it can actually work, and now there are only about 3 more episodes left (or two, one being a two-hour finale, depends how you look at it), but better late than never I guess.

(S04E10) Last week was another masterpiece, and as always it’s a tough job to have to come next after such a great episode. Added to the fact that this season has been nothing but fantastic, plus the fact that we’re getting closer and closer to the big finale, and we’re all expecting a lot when we sat down for another hour of Lost. Of course, that’s the beauty of this show, especially this season, fans are extremely demanding, and the show delivers and surprises them week after week.
Last week was also an episode filled with actions, while with this one we took a seat back. This episode was more of a “transitional” episode, it was bringing up new questions, lots of them, it was setting up the pieces on the board game, before things get really serious. Not that this is wrong, because this episode was still a pretty good one.

Shows: Lost
In Series: Lost Season 4

Last night was the first Thursday of May, the second one of May Sweeps, and it seems that in May less people are watching TV. At least, they are less people than there was one week ago. NBC is actually the only network who gained viewers (400 000 viewers), all others either remained the same or lost viewers.
At 8.00 it started as last week with Survivor being the only program to break the 10 million viewers with 12.5 million of them, which is half a million less than a week ago. Last week Ugly Betty came second, with 8.5 million viewers. Things have changed now, and it came after Fox’s game with only 7.9 million viewers, though it did close to the same on the demo.

(S03E14) Finally, Supernatural is back !! I know there was already and episode last week, but as I said it was a piece of crap, really (and it saddens me to say so, cause I love this show, but facts are what they are), the worst episode of the entire series. So much that I decided to forget about it, it was nothing but a stupid thing called “Ghostfacers”, nothing else, and last night was the “real” return of the show I actually love, Supernatural.
And indeed, it was back! It wasn’t a very special episode, it didn’t reveal anything big, it was simply a good episode of Supernatural, with all the elements that we love about the show, and exactly what we want to find when tuning in. We had a new bad guy to kill, the boys sharing a few heart to heart conversations, plenty of jokes, Dean’s obsession with food, even a mention of our favorite Asian porn site ! What else could you ask for ?

Shows: Supernatural
In Series: Supernatural Season 3

(S07E10) This episode, like all of the last episodes from this show to air on NBC, was made with in mind the idea that this was going to be the very last season of the show. We all know by now this won’t actually be the case, but by the time those were done this little fact wasn’t actually known by anybody. And so much like the rest of the season so far, while there’s still plenty of nothingness and goofing around, we actually get to see some evolution at Sacred Hearts and in the people who work here.
Or, those who don’t anymore. Last week was a major turning point, since it was the last time Kelso was around. He said his goodbyes and when offered the chance to keep his job, was more than pleased to refuse and move on. But life goes on, a new Chief has been nominated and JD keeps having his too long fantasies…

(S04E12) Oh Boy, so much to talk about, so many things happened during this episode… While I personally loved Dinner Party, I know many people didn’t like it that much, considering that it way a bit too much and that the show was best when it stayed in the office, instead of going out into people’s private life, like spending the entire episode at Michael’s for a dinner party.
Last week, the episode was still split in two, and while half of it took place at the office (or right outside on the parking lot), the rest of it was in bars and other places not really office-related. And that one time, I was one of those who felt like this wasn’t really a good idea, because yes, the show is at his best when it stays within the walls of the office, and while sometimes going out is nice, this time it didn’t felt that way.
This week, we’re fully back, with the entire episode taking place in the office !

Shows: The Office
In Series: The Office Season 4
By fred | May 2, 2008
(S02E14) Last week something big happened on 30 Rock, something with important consequences for the future of the show : the one & only Jack Donaghy got evicted out of his office. After Liz accidentally put Don Geiss in a coma, Jack’s worst enemy found its way to the top and now Jack isn’t really Jack anymore. And I have to say that when this happened, I was surprised a bit, yet pretty sure it wouldn’t last.
Simply because this is a sitcom, and the first rule is that nothing ever changes or evolves, things have to remain constant so that it’s still the same funny things weeks after weeks. There’s that, and also the very obvious fact that 30 Rock needs Jack Donaghy at NBC, you can’t have another boss for Liz and her crew that Jack, there’s just no way.

Shows: 30 Rock
In Series: 30 Rock Season 2

* Are you ready ? Cause we’re Thursday, and it’s not a day you want to feel sleepy anytime soon…
* No time to waste : first at 8.00 on ABC there’s a new episode of Ugly Betty
* While on The CW it’s time for a new Smallville
* And of course it’s NBC’s comedy night, with a new My Name Is Earl to start things. And Thank God he’s awake now!!
* Then remember that at 8.30 comes Scrubs for the rest of this season
* At 9.00, there’s even more choices to make. On CBS there is a new episode of CSI
* While a new Grey’s Anatomy is on ABC, and rumor has it someone is coming back to say hi…
* And on The CW is the long-awaited return of Supernatural ! (Yes, last week episode being the worst of the show ever, I decided not to pretend it didn’t happened)
* Of course on NBC the comedy night continues, with a new episode of The Office
* At 9.30 Tina Fey’s hilarious little sitcom 30 Rock is back, while NBC will surely keep popping up annoying ads about that movie all along… God I hate NBC
* Then, time stops, everything stops, it’s Lost time ! Last week was (once again) one of the best episodes the show ever delivered, and I have no doubt things will be as good this week.
* Also, CBS has a new episode of Without A Trace
* While on NBC there’s a new episode of E.R.
* Now you can go try to find a way to watch it all!
