I recently reported that the strike might be over soon, though nothing was done yet. Well, this seems even more true now as two sources told Reuters Monday that both sides apparently came to an agreement to terms of a new contract, a contract that could be presented to union leaders in days and, if approved, end their 3-month-old strike later this week.
Nothing is done yet, but everyone seems to agree that the deadline to be able to save this season is February 15. Is the strike gets resolved before then, major series could go back into production and add four or five episodes to their currently halted season. Rumor has it that only returning series would be affected, as networks may not intend to put back in production any of their new series, even if they were picked up for a full season order.

(S01E06) For a second week now Paul is back with all its patient, one a day, as usual. And so just like last week, we open on Monday with Laura. I watched this one again, just to see how it would go, but I have to admit that Laura’s episode was probably one of the weakest of last week. The only episode I liked less would be the Friday session which was the most disappointing of all.
But Laura isn’t that much better : she’s the girl in love with her therapist. Although as hinted last Friday, there might be more to it…

(S01E04) After a little break last week the saga continues, and for its “return” we had a large summary of what happened next, as Fox is hoping to get new viewers into the show thanks to those Superbowl ads. Whether you were there for the three first episodes or just started this week doesn’t really matter, this episode was a good sign of what the show is.
It had pretty much all of its pros, except maybe a Terminator actually shown “in the flesh”, and by that I obviously mean without any flesh on, and it also had most of its flaws. And overall, it was still a fun hour of entertainment.

(S03E11) Of course after last episode I said I was done with this crap, yet there’s only three (now two) more episodes so I kinda feel like I might as well watch them all and see how it “ends”, even though I’m sure it’ll be a mess. It won’t be a surprise and it won’t be a change either, because this whole season so far has been nothing but a mess, where nothing happens and nothing gets done, and when it’s not completely ridiculous it’s just pathetic.
Did I had any hope that this episode would be any different, or that anything would happen there ? Hell no! If you asked me, I would have said that Michael and his friends wouldn’t get out of Sona before the end of episode 13, the last completed episode. That was my thoughts on how things could go down, what did actually took place ?

We’re all wondering when the strike is going to end. But our real question is not there, but lies onto the heart of our favorite shows. Selfish as it may be, we all want to know what’s going to happen next for our beloved characters, we want the strike to end, and our series to return so we can - finally - found out.
What the Hell is that Island, who is the mother, will Jim & Pam be happy ever after, those are the question we’re all dying to find out, and thanks the writers from The Daily Show you can find out, now !

* There’s quite a few things on TV tonight. If you’re looking good stuff, though, it might be harder…
* At 8.00 Fox has a new Prison Break, but it’s probably gonna be terrible. I won’t be watching this time. Okay I might, but only because I’m a TVoholic, cause it really sucks…
* Although, at 8.30 on CBS premieres a new series, Welcome To The Captain, and that seems to suck, really really bad! Okay, maybe you’re a fan of Arrested Development and you’ll want to tune in because of Jeffrey Tambor, but don’t bother. It is really bad, same old boring main plots you used to see years & years ago, and most important it is not funny, at all, not once, not even close. Oh and by the way, it’s a sitcom. Or so they call it…
* Then comes the highlight of the night, at 9.00, and this time you have to tune on Fox, because there’s a new episode of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
* At 9.30 starts the second week of therapy on HBO with a new In Treatment
* While CBS has the season premiere of New Adventures Of Old Christine. Honestly? I have never watch even one episode of this show… is it good ?

So last night was a pretty big night for Fox, and as far as I’m concerned the best of it came after 10.00, it was House. Still, before that there was still some cool things, and no I’m not talking about the game - which I didn’t watch - but I’m not sport fan anyways.
No I’m talking about the commercials. Those little things we usually use to go pee or love to skip thanks to some DVR/TiVo device, but that last night we were actually waiting for and watched anxiously. Last night we skipped over the game only to watch the ads ! Well, even if not, there was still some pretty good stuff, and here’s a best-of !

Shows: Superbowl Ads
By fred | February 4, 2008
Well, numbers are in and if for a moment it seemed this Superbowl might break records and go over 100 million viewers, the preliminary numbers are in, and as such finals are subject to differ a little, but it seems this might not beat last year after all. The Superbowl was followed by 89.1 million viewers, though numbers are expected to go up, while the past-game at 10.00 still had 68.2 million viewers.
What does that do for House ? Easily a season high, with the first half getting 32.8 million viewers and a 14.4 on the 18-49 demo. But when the second half gets added, and since House actually aired pretty late, I hear some had to wait 11.00 to see it, it’s expected to go down. Still a season high for America’s most favorite doctor, and a better result than last year’s post-Superbowl show, Criminal Minds, watched by a little over 26 million viewers.

Shows: House, Life Is Wild
By fred | February 4, 2008
(S04E11) It doesn’t feel like the last time we saw House was so long ago, and it wasn’t really. We had one new episode last Tuesday, this Sunday we got an episode right after the Superbowl, and then this Tuesday guess what ? A new House is on, too ! Yeah, we’ve been missing the show for some time now, and suddenly it there, it’s all there, almost every day. The only problem with that is that Tuesday, this might be the last episode of the season.
Or not, should the strike end soon there could be hope for four or five more episodes, who knows?
So this episode was the one after the Superbowl, but it wasn’t really a “Superbowl special”, because if something special for the event was originally planned, and logically it would have been a two-parter with conclusion on Tuesday, this couldn’t happen due to the strike, and instead this episode, which hasn’t been written for the event but as a regular episode, was promoted to this special slot.
Of course, that doesn’t mean it was good, far from it. In its regular Tuesday slot House is always fantastic, why should this episode be any different ?

“Damn it!”
Those words are probably the ones Jack Bauer said the most in each season, or even episode, of 24. Because Jack is a good guy, at least when it comes to words. But he’s not afraid to torture and torture some more, to ignore Presidential orders or even go after his own family, but if there’s one thing he won’t do, it’s say any bad words. But what if he did ?
Okay, so no this is absolutely not about words, but actions. So far we’ve see Bauer going over lots of very difficult situations, and every time, even after being locked up and tortured himself for a few years, he never went to the other side. Jack Bauer was always a good guy. And he will still be one next season, whenever that comes.
But it could have been different !
