This makes me laugh so much. It really does.
So as you probably know there’s a new Knight Rider coming on NBC, as a made-for-TV movie first, but they hope it’ll do well so they can turn it into a series. There, already, I’m laughing. But that’s not the latest : Arrested Development’s Will Arnett had been casted to do the voice of the new KITT, and did a good job for what I could tell from the promos, even though I wished they had used to original voice, and the car doesn’t look that good to me, and the whole thing will suck I’m sure.
Anyways, Arnett’s voice is in all the promos as he had already completed the voice over for the whole movie. Only that won’t be used, instead NBC hired Val Kilmer to take over the part and redo everything. Two weeks before the thing airs.
And why ?

Remember when I said that Heroes was doomed, because its creative team had no clue what to do with the show ? Turns out it might be even worst than I thought.
So after “apologizing”, or begging people to still tune in because they love money, creator Tim Kring wanted everyone to think that he and other writers on the show had realized their mistakes, and were going to change things and get the show better. But let’s be honest here, if you didn’t know no one cared about some stupid annoying twins were ludicrous “abilities”, if you couldn’t see people would not be interested in the same stories as in the first season, if you thought it got any better by the end of last season, despite all characters being complete morons 24/7 and the whole thing being a huge piece of crap, you obviously didn’t realize anything, you were just begging to go in another World tour…

* Not very much on TV tonight… and nothing at 8.00 again
* Nothing at 9.00 either. Half an hour later, HBO has a new session of In Treatment
* And at 10.00, you got choice. ABC has a new Cashmere Mafia, but the show sucks. CBS has the last completed episode of CSI: New-York, and NBC has a new Law & Order

Super-Tuesday numbers are in, and not surprisingly Fox dominated the night, both in total viewers and on the 18-49 demo. It wasn’t hard to predict it, with a new American Idol and a new House opposing mostly reruns & endless hours of election coverage.
At 8.00 American Idol was way ahead of the competition, and stopped losing viewers with 27.8 million viewers (about 100 000 more than last week). Then it’s repeat, crap, election & more repeats.
Moving on, at 9.00 much like it’s lead-in House ruled the slot, and had a little Superbowl bump, of about half a million viewers. It’s not much, but let’s also note that the episode was not a two-parter as it should have been (and would have been, had there not be a strike). Still, 23.2 million viewers is a season high for the show, if you don’t count the post-Superbowl episode of course.

A little late but numbers for Monday are in, and guess who won the night ? That’s right, ABC did! Shocking, I know.
At 8.00 the Alphabet came first with Dance War, followed by American Gladiators on NBC, topping the slot on the 18-49 demo. That’s all very sad, I know. Then came the series premiere of Welcome To The Captain (at 8.30) with 8.1 million viewers. That doesn’t sound too bad, especially since in grew from its lead-in (a rerun of How I Met Your Mother) by 300 000 viewers, but keep in mind it was a series premiere.
Now let’s be honest, none of those 8 millions will return, at least I hope not. Because I finally watched it, the full episode, and something that may not be a good sign for a sitcom, as this show claims to be : I did not laugh, not once, not even smile. Ever. It’s so bad it’s impressive, I think it makes Carpoolers look funny and, trust me, that show isn’t funny.

(S01E07) As always, with each day now comes a new episode of HBO’s latest series. And as this second week goes by, you really realize that the show is constructed as four or five different shows, one for each day of the week, one with its own patient and the story that comes along. And with this second week, I might start to cancel a few appointments, on days I don’t find the story or patient to be worth it.
Tuesday is the day where Alex, dead-man walking, shows up. I liked his session last week, so I was happy to see him come back, though unlike Paul I knew he would.

(S04E12) I have very mixed feelings towards this episode. No, not about the episode itself, but about the fact that what we saw here might be the last episode of the season, due to the writers’ strike. Of course, it could not be the case, should things go as good as possible the strike might be over by next week, people back to work soon after that and there may be four or five more episodes added to the season. Or not. We’ll have to wait and see.
Either way, this was about the third episode in a week ! Last week we had the Christmas episode (nope, no mistake), just this Sunday after the Superbowl we had another episode, and here we are, with yet another new episode. Such a thing would usually please me very much, but with the ongoing strike I get mixed feelings, because even if things should be resolved very soon it’ll be weeks, if not months, before we get a new episode. In such a situation, maybe it’d have been better to spread the remaining episodes over a little longer period, rather than airing them all within a week or so.
Anyways, House might be gone for now, but he didn’t leave without another great episode !

As always, critics are all voted for the to find out which were the best series and which were the worst of 2007. The Winter Critics Poll 2007 is over, and results are in.
Votes were tabulated using a weighted scale. Critics submitted 10 shows in the best series category, the top choice receiving 10 points, the second choice 9 points and so on down to the last (10th) choice, receiving 1 point.
In the worst series category, they only submitted five shows, the top (worst) choice descending from 5 points, the next from 4 points, and so on till the last one, descending from one point.
Selected shows were televised between July and December 2007.

* About a month ago I reported that Fox did not intend to air new episodes of Bones until April. Well, that hasn’t changed, technically, but there’s still improvement.
The remaining episodes of Bones were set to return on April 28, but Fox announced that they would actually return a little sooner, April 14. Yes, that’s still in over a month, that’s still April, and not even early April, and that’s still Mondays at 8.00 before new series Canterbury’s Law premieres, but that’s still a little better I guess.
Quick reminders:
