Here we go, I’ve just watched a few more episodes I had left waiting for me. I still got more waiting, but it’s like a never ending story, I can already see new ones coming in tomorrow night, and the next day, and the next day…
Well, actually I really hope they will, I don’t want a damned strike. I hope those stupid morons get the writers what they deserve so we can keep enjoying our great shows, because if there’s one thing I don’t want it’s more reality crap, reruns, or whatever shitty things they’ll come up with.
Anyways, if strike there is, it isn’t for tomorrow, and today we got reviews of Reaper, Criminal Minds and Supernatural. It was all good, well, mostly good.

As always during the week-end I’m trying to find enough time to watch all the episodes I didn’t get a chance to watch during the week. It’s not that easy, being the TVoholic than I am I do spend a lot of time on it, but I also watch an awful lot of shows. I still have many more to watch, but here are a few thoughts on My Name Is Earl, the season premiere Scrubs entering its very last season, a new Samantha Who? and Chuck.

(S02E04) I think something it clear now, 30 Rock is one of the best sitcom there is. It’s great, fresh, hilarious, and each episode in filled with an incredible amount of great lines! Watch it, make your friends watch it, your family, anyone you walk by, because it really is pure gold.
I’m not saying it’s the best sitcom out there, I still love The Office, but this one has always been an half-hour long and never disappointed. It is must-see TV too!

(S01E04) Don’t get me wrong, I do like this show very much. I think it is really well made and offers a nice hour of “entertainment”. That being said, and while it seems many people, critics and regular viewers, are absolutely in love with Pushing Daisies, I am not.
Recently the series got picked up by ABC and received its full season order, a news that I too see as a good news. (Now if only NBC could do the same for Life…) But when I heard that news, I also talked about the (not so) little things that started to worry me about the show.
Well, not so little they were! I’m actually finding myself not enjoying this lovely series as much as many others it seems, and as much as I used to, because of those “little things”.

(S01E05) I said it before but I feel the need to say it again, because we really need to let the word out, the world needs to know : despite it’s odd title, and its appearance of being just another cop drama with a twist, Life definitely is the best new series of this season. I don’t mean on NBC, but overall. I know many are in love with Pushing Daisies, and I agree it’s a pretty good one, but I believe this one is better.
It really is so much more than what it looks like, and the one thing that attracted to it in the first place, that keeps me coming back and makes the show what it is, is before everything else the writing. The writing on Life really is brilliant, and while the weekly stories might not be the greatest ones ever, they are good and allow us to dive more and more each time with all the characters, and every single character on that show is written with great accuracy and depth, much more than in most other shows.

(S04E05) Let’s be happy, people, we only got half an hour of The Office this time! It might sounds weird to say that at first, but - last week’s episode apart - we all know how the hour-long format really hurt the show. Despite that, we also all knew that it was still our great and beloved office and that once it would returned to its traditional half-hour format, there would be nothing but fun.
And, it’s like like we have to feel guilty about any of it anyways, because now that we’ve got half an hour less of this one, we have the return of medical comedy Scrubs ! I haven’t seen the last season premiere of this show yet, but I’m sure it was a lot of fun as well.
But let’s focus on The Office for now.

(S01E05) You may have noticed that for the last episodes, the little picture I used along with reviews the this show weren’t not of Jamie Sommers, but Sarah Corvus. Anyone what watched the show, or read a review, knows why. There is a reason for it, and whoever is working on this show is aware of that fact.
That is why, I think, they decided to write this episode. It was an attempt to “address” some of the complaints and problems they had with the show. Little spoiler if you didn’t watched the episode, but this week, I did not use a picture featuring Katee Sackhoff’s character, only because she wasn’t in it.
That was one of their failed attempts of the week.

(S02E04) I think there’s one thing that can be said for sure about this little show : when you tune in each week, you don’t really know what to expect; Or, you really don’t know what to expect. The only thing you can be sure of, is that it’ll be funny. You will laugh out loud.
Unless you don’t like her humor, and then you probably wouldn’t be watching, so it’s fair to say you knew you were in for some good time. But that’s pretty much it, because it could really go anywhere.
And I think this is even more true with this second season.

- Really, does anyone who watched one episode of Fox’s “sitcom” Back To You liked it ? Really?!! It is so unfunny and those recorded laughs are so annoying I couldn’t even stay on for the full episode, and I never went back there again. Ever.
Yet, in their all mighty silliness, or is it stupidity, Fox picked it up for a full season. Even worst, they ordered not 9 but 11 more episodes, getting the season to 24 episodes !! WTF?
- In other news, Bionic Woman hit a new low with only 7.78 million viewers last night, while it premiered not so long ago at 13.59 million viewers. Yeah, that’s pretty bad, that’s almost a 43% drop bad, yet it’s not as bad as the show actually is. I still haven’t got a chance to see that episode, but I know it was bad already. This had to be the first NBC new series to go.
And Journeyman might be next in line…
- In the mean time, here’s some good news : apparently The CW has ordered three more scripts of Reaper! Sure, there’s the whole strike thing, but this sounds good still, although I wish they would pick up the full season order, the show is worth it I think.

(S11E11) Well well… needless to say I was really waiting for that one, given all that happened previously on Battlestar Galactica. I’m sure they were many more references to that show, but I never watched one single episode of it so, throw the rocks!
This trilogy definitely sounds more and more like a masterpiece, in all angles. Not only it is funny, hilarious I should say, but it’s got a message, and it just keeps better and better.
