(S03E17) Here’s something that’s been kinda bothering me for a while with Lost, that I forgot to mention before : there has been nothing whatsoever relating to the ending of the previous season. And I don’t even mean the missing-a-toe statue, but the very last scene on the season 2 finale, that obviously they could have not made at all, it was something they wanted to do, so we’re right to assume they know why, they’ve got a plan for this.
Yet, nothing at all had been said, even remotely, about those Portuguese guys working for Desmond’s fiancée & catching a signal, supposedly from the Hatch implosion.
So as you can imagine, I was thrilled that – finally – we heard about it in this episode. Ok sure, it was not any kind of revelation/explanation or whatever, we still don’t know what they catch, and how they knew where/what to look for, but still :
Yes, Penny catch something. Not only that, she was able not just to somehow locate that damn mysterious Island, but also to send someone there, and without even the need of using a submarine! How about that!? Read the review of “Change the picture in the box” »

(S06E18) So, is he? Really? Or what that just once again a false hope we all had for a while?
Sadly if you watched last episode of 24, you all know by now… it was a false hope, again.
Remember back when this new season just started? I had some hope for this season to be nothing be awesome as we’ve never seen, I mean, maybe not that much but still. There was some pretty cool ideas I’d wished they used on previous seasons already, so to see they finally got there was a great move, and lots of hopes for us viewers.
But then, it all went down the tube as they kinda forgot about all that and set back up to their usual (crappy) plots we know by heart from the start of the show, it our hopes were dead.
I think most fans would agree this season wasn’t the best, far from it, and that seeing Jack getting the nukes and with that closing that plot was a relief.
Then, when Audrey was on the phone, as hostage of the Chinese, and Jack had to go and save her, our hopes got back up there. Maybe the whole crappy plots were finally dead, and we would get to witness a great personal vendetta from no other than Jack Bauer, the one & only.
And then we watched the episode. Read the review of “Is Jack back?” »

(S03E16) So, that was a nice & interesting episode, even though the “big revelation wasn’t really one at all. I mean, if you haven’t watch the episode run away now I’m spoilering it all next sentence.
So as I’ve said before, I was so sure this all “Juliet left behind thing was nothing but another con from the Others, so when it turned out to be nothing but that… no surprises here.
Still, there’s a few things that can be said about this episode and the way things went. First off, I don’t think Jack is, or at least should be, our friends leader. He is in no way suited for the job no more!
People need to stop trusting him and turning to him. Just because he says Juliet is good, doesn’t mean she is. Definitely not. Actually, the more it goes the more I think he should be watched over, closely even.
Sayid. Sayid is, or should be, the new leader. For a few episodes now he’s always had good instinct, be smart & reactive, and most important not only does he asks questions but he does ask GOOD questions, the one we’re all dying for. Not “Where’s Juliet?â€? Read the review of “See you next week…” »

(S06E17) Well, obviously it isn’t, yet. But after this episode there was some changes, and the show might be going into a new direction.
If you haven’t seen it yet and hate spoilers, stop reading now, because the next words I’ll write will be how it ends. And I do mean this season, not only this episode!
Well, not really no, I don’t mean the season. Only this episode.
In a previous post, unfortunately lost, when Jack learned that Audrey had gone to China looking for him and got killed, Jack got really pissed. It makes me laugh a little, but then I had said that that was when I got my hopes back for the show, except that I didn’t really believe they would actually do it.
I said, looking how pissed off Jack got, that I would but love it if they would drop that whole CTU vs Terrorists plot going on, because it’s the damn same thing every year with 24, and it’s far from being exciting, especially after the hopes we had at first after a start with no less than one nuclear explosion on US soil!
But because of that, they probably couldn’t do it again, even less top it. So my hope was for them to stop all that crap, and turn the end of the season into a personal vendetta : Jack Bauer vs the whole world.
That’s exactly what people would love to see I think, Jack going the dark side, and all alone getting back at everyone involved in the murder of the love of his life ! Read the review of “24 is over…” »

(S03E15) So my previous posts are all gone now, I won’t really go back. Let me just say a few things again though, cause I was really disappointed after that whole Nicky & Paulo episode.
I won’t redo it all, but what worries me and I didn’t appreciate at all is how they tried to make us believe that they’ve been on the Island & on the show from the start. Obviously, this isn’t the case; and making Locke throwing a new line at her doesn’t make it right.
Actually, it makes it worst to me. Because I understand writers, back when writing season one, did not have all the plots that would go on during season one, two and three. Obviously they made things up along the way, and some things were not planned.
We all accept that, but please please don’t go changing what really happened on previous episodes, trying to make us believe it was different so your new story makes sense.
That is exactly what I do not want to see, because it makes you feel like you’ve been cheated : they told you they had a plan & knew what the big secret was, but they did not. They made something up later on and then try to pass it as something known & planned from the start. I HATE that.
But worst than this little story, the one thing that I really didn’t like is the scene where Ben & Juliet come in the hatch, with Paulo hiding on the bathroom, and supposedly watch Jack and the others Losties on their hatch & discuss their plan. Read the review of “Yeah, Cat fight!” »

Well, as you may have noticed there’s been a big server crash and a few posts have been lost, sadly.
I don’t think I’ll try to “rewrite” any of them, because I hate doing so and I don’t really have the time for it, so let’s forget about it & move on, shall we.
Right now I’m still setting things back up, but after that things should start back as before…
Sorry for all the trouble.
